Steven Mathes lives miles from the nearest pavement with a spouse and a dog. When he isn’t writing, he tends a garden. He gardens because he likes to cook. He cooks because he is passionate about eating. For tonight’s supper, he plans to toss cauliflower with a generous amount of good olive oil, then (because he has run out of unicorn dandruff) sprinkle it with ground sumac. He will roast it in a convection oven at 350 for around 45 minutes. He is a full member of SFWA.
